Litterateur Dr Shrestha honoured in UK

The Migrant Nepali Literary Society has honoured litterateur Dr Kabita Ram Shrestha.

Nepali Ambassador to Britain, Dr Durga Bahadur Subedi, handed over a letter to honour Dr Shrestha. The ambassador also made a statement that Dr Shrestha's contribution to Nepali literary sector would always be remembered by the Nepali literary fraternity. 

Subedi also launched Dr Shrestha's new book 'Light of the Himalaya' (Himalko Prakash). Rajendra Chhetri, Dr Rupak Shrestha, Elizabeth Ivan and Mulbir Rai gave their comments on the latest book. A documentary on Dr Shrestha developed by Rai was also screened during the function.
